  1. Upgrade Cheetah PC.
    Dell has very nice machines now, T7500 , but they are pricy. It depends on how much we can spend.
  2. Add new frontrend for TPC readout for extra VME crate. We will take one MuLan frontend.
  3. MuLan DAQ infrastructure. Will the MuLan barrack stay nearby?
  4. Data storage. Do we want to send a copy to PSI archive? Do we have quota there?
  5. Tape robot. It would be nice to have two tape robots on site. One is for master copy, another one either as a spare or to make a backup copy.
  6. Tapes. Do we need to purchase more tapes? Last year we could reuse TDK tapes only. Other brands did not work.
  7. Semi-offline analysis. Do we want to run a semi-offline analysis? Who will set it up?


  1. Clock synthesizer. We will need two clock frequencies, 450 MHz (for Gondola WFDs) and 50(?) MHz (for TPC WFDs). Therefore, either we need two clock synthersizer or Kevin and Fred have ideas how to derive 50 MHz clock from one master clock.
  2. Setup one more VME crate with WFD for TPC readout. Do we have enough WFD electronics at PSI?
  3. SMA-to-Lemo/twisted pair cables. Do we have enough or do we have to build more cables? How long? SMA-flat cable was not a very elegant solution last year. If one cable fails we have to raplace the whole set.
  4. Eliminate TDC400.
  5. Update the master logic firmware.
  6. HV units. Threre was a desire to upgrade old and not reliable Nitronics HV units.

  2. Ge?
  3. Neutron detectors. The concern was that the resolution was limited by PMTs. Do we have a choise?
