Chronological updates

As regards the length of sections, we should take the 2009 report for guidance.

  • 1/13/2011
    • We agreed to analyze until next Tuesday telconf and start writing after that.
    • CVS submitted
    • Neutron detectors moved to Status section, not Analysis section
    • Consistency section replaced by TPC Operating Conditions = our studies at different densities

CVS/LATEX instructions

  • DO THAT ONCE: Now change your CVSROOT variable to the new server location. For
    that, edit your shell configuration file (if you use the BASH
    it's something like ~/.bashrc) and set the CVSROOT variable to:
    * For MuSun:
    CVSROOT=your_user_name@muon.npl.washington.edu:/home/cvs/musun/cvsroot
  • DO THAT ONCE: cvs co progress10 this establishes your progress10 directory
  • EVERYTIME you modify existing files
    • cd progress10
    • cvs commit xxx.tex -m "your comment"
    • if commit does not work, somebody has changed the repository and you have to cvs update in progress10 directory, then merge the changes and commit again
    • in progress10 you use make to perform the pdflatex
    • progress10.bib contains references, which you can use.
  • If you want also the progress09 report as a starting text, just create another directory with cvs co progress09
