Neutron and Capture Recoil Time Spectrum Comparison

Work to 2/4/2009

I have taken the neutron time spectra from the raw MTA Histograms, taking a histogram and applying a background subtraction as indicated by Tim. The raw neutron time spectra were binned differently from the capture time spectra, 60 ns rather than 200 ns used for the recoil time spectra. I used the raw neutron time spectra to generate a MC distribution with equal statistics but with binning identical to the capture recoil spectra.

Original Spectra, the background subtracted spectra are shown in red

MC Generated neutron spectra

Ratio of the normalize neutron spectra, to the MinEH capture recoil time spectra.
