July 28, 2008: MEETING at FNAL: in 1-West* Email list for meeting

At a morning meeting between Pier, Young-Kee, Steve Holmes, DWH, and BLR, the Collaboration was encouraged to pursue a plan for g-2 @ FNAL fitting into a total project cost envelope of about $20M and on a fairly rapid time scale. Pier et al was briefed on the plan being discussed in the afternoon (see below by Popovic) . He was encouraging about this plan and the lab's willingness to help. We were encouraged to aim for a PAC submission for the Spring 2009 meeting, roughly early April. For that document / proposal, we need a well costed, complete plan for siting the experiment at FNAL. The afternoon meeting was attended by many physicists and engineers who are experts in various affected systems. These presentations were given to lead the discussion:
